About the LEGO Table Football set

A retro table football game in miniature, designed by a fan and voted in through LEGO Ideas. Each team has two rods, one with the goalkeeper and two defenders, one with two strikers, and a slider above each goal counts the score. It comes with 22 minifigures with 44 heads and 43 hairpieces, so you can put the teams together as you like, plus a stand for the substitutes, two balls, a trophy and flags.

The 2’339 pieces take 6 to 8 hours to build, a good part of it on the figures. Then you play, ideally with two. Finished, the table is 41 cm long. LEGO retired the set after just over a year, at the end of 2023. Rented, you play with it for a few weeks and then send it back.

Common questions about the LEGO Table Football

How long does LEGO Table Football (21337) take to build?

Plan on 6 to 8 hours for the 2339 pieces. The table itself goes quickly; a lot of the time goes into the 22 minifigures, for which you choose from 44 heads and 43 hairpieces, and into the stand.

How big is LEGO Table Football when built?

The table is 41 cm long, 29 cm wide and 15 cm high. With the stand beside it you need a little more room, but a coffee table is enough to play on.

Can you actually play with LEGO Table Football?

Yes. Each team has two rods, one with the goalkeeper and two defenders, one with two strikers. You slide and spin the figures with the rods, and a slider above each goal counts the score. Two balls are included.

Can you still buy LEGO Table Football?

No. The Ideas set 21337 came out at the end of 2022 and was already retired at the end of 2023, after just over a year. New, it cost CHF 269.–. Rented, you play with it for a few weeks without having it in your living room afterwards.

Questions about the BlockAbo rental model

How does BlockAbo actually work?

You pick a set from our collection and we send it to your door for free. You build it, keep it as long as you like, and send it back when you are ready for the next one. After a month at the earliest, with no upper limit. Then you choose your next set.

What does BlockAbo cost and what is included?

There are three options: the single rental at a one-off CHF 42.–, the monthly plan at CHF 39.– per month and the yearly plan at CHF 29.– per month. Included are the complete set, the instructions, delivery to you and the cleaning. You cover the return, and the label is already in the box.

Can I cancel the subscription at any time?

Yes. The monthly plan can be cancelled to the end of any month, with no reason and no notice period. You send the set back and that is that. The yearly plan commits you for twelve months and costs about a quarter less per month in return.

How hygienic are rented LEGO sets?

Every set is washed at 30 °C with soap after it comes back, dried, and checked brick by brick for completeness. Only then does it go out again. So you never get a set somebody else has been through unchecked.

What happens if pieces are missing or break?

Up to ten lost small pieces are no problem and are included in the price. It happens, vacuum cleaners are merciless. We only get in touch for larger damage or missing large pieces. You do not have to go over the carpet with tweezers.

How fast does the set reach me?

Orders placed before 14:00 go out the same working day. After that Swiss Post usually takes one to two working days. We deliver anywhere in Switzerland and delivery to you is free.

Why is renting more sustainable than buying?

A LEGO set is usually built once and then sits on a shelf or in a cellar for years. With us the same set passes through eight to ten people. For the same number of sets built, that is up to 90 % less newly produced plastic.
