Renting LEGO is straightforward: pick the set you want from our range, get it delivered to your door and build for as long as you like. When you are ready for something new, you send the set back and choose the next one.

Renting LEGO in Switzerland makes it clear that a monthly fee gives you unlimited access to a rotating range of LEGO sets. You can borrow all sorts of LEGO sets: from LEGO Technic for demanding builders through LEGO Icons and LEGO Creator Expert to LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Disney. Our range covers sets from 2000 to over 4000 pieces. Renting a LEGO set from us means original LEGO in flawless condition, complete with every piece. New LEGO sets cost the same as the classics.

Hygiene is the top priority in our LEGO rental. Every returned set goes through a cleaning process in which it is washed at 30° with soap. That guarantees every set arrives clean and fresh. It is the advantage over a used set from a classifieds site.

Yes. Our LEGO subscription is aimed primarily at adults and AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO). Complex Technic sets, Creator Expert and Architecture series in particular are perfect for grown-up builders. The subscription makes special sense for adults: premium sets often cost CHF 200.– to CHF 500.– in the shops, take up a lot of room and gather dust once built. With BlockAbo you build complex models at your own pace and swap them for the next challenge.

Orders placed before 14:00 go out the same working day. Swiss Post usually delivers your set within 1 to 3 working days. In Zürich, Basel, Bern and Geneva it is often the next day. Sending it back is just as simple: the return label is always included, pack the set into the box and drop it at the post office or have it collected. Note that return postage is on you.

Normal wear is priced in. If a few small pieces go missing (up to 10 bricks), that is no problem. For larger losses or damage we find a fair solution. BlockAbo is built to be family friendly. We know things go missing while building, so we run a spare-parts service and treat every case individually.

One subscription means one set at a time, whether that is a single rental, a monthly plan or a yearly plan. If you want several sets, you can take out several subscriptions at once, even with the same email address.

Borrowing and swapping LEGO sets is flexible: as soon as you are ready for a new set, you pick your next model online. Pack the current set with the enclosed return label and hand it in at the post office. As soon as your return reaches us, we send out your new set.

No, the LEGO subscription can be cancelled monthly. No minimum term, no notice period. You stay completely flexible. Plenty of customers use BlockAbo seasonally: intensively over the winter months and the school holidays, paused in summer.
