About the LEGO Notre-Dame de Paris set
Notre-Dame de Paris as an Architecture model of 4’383 pieces, including the spire over the crossing that burned down in 2019 and has since been rebuilt. The two west towers, the flying buttresses and the roof structure are each worked out individually; the rose windows are made of transparent elements and look like stained glass against the light.
The facade is what really eats the time: many small repeating arches that have to sit cleanly. Reckon on 13 to 17 hours. Finished the model measures 33 × 22 × 41 cm, so it stays displayable without taking a whole shelf. The set has been in the shops since 2024. If you are more interested in building it than in keeping it, Notre-Dame is a model worth doing, and one that frees the space up again afterwards.
Common questions about the LEGO Notre-Dame de Paris
How long does LEGO Notre-Dame de Paris take to build?
Reckon on 13 to 17 hours for the 4383 pieces. The two west towers and the flying buttresses are the most involved sections. Many small repeating arches mean the time goes mostly into the facade.
How big is the LEGO Notre-Dame model?
The model measures 33 × 22 × 41 cm. It belongs to the Architecture range, so it is detailed without filling a room. It fits on a sideboard or in a display cabinet.
Is LEGO Notre-Dame still available?
Yes. Set 21061 came out in 2024 and is currently in the shops. Architecture models often stay in the range a little longer than Icons sets; no end date is known so far.
What is particularly well done on the LEGO Notre-Dame?
The rose windows are built from transparent elements and look like stained glass against the light. The spire over the crossing, which burned down in 2019 and has since been rebuilt, is included, along with the flying buttresses and a detailed roof structure.
Questions about the BlockAbo rental model
How does BlockAbo actually work?
You pick a set from our collection and we send it to your door for free. You build it, keep it as long as you like, and send it back when you are ready for the next one. After a month at the earliest, with no upper limit. Then you choose your next set.
What does BlockAbo cost and what is included?
There are three options: the single rental at a one-off CHF 42.–, the monthly plan at CHF 39.– per month and the yearly plan at CHF 29.– per month. Included are the complete set, the instructions, delivery to you and the cleaning. You cover the return, and the label is already in the box.
Can I cancel the subscription at any time?
Yes. The monthly plan can be cancelled to the end of any month, with no reason and no notice period. You send the set back and that is that. The yearly plan commits you for twelve months and costs about a quarter less per month in return.
How hygienic are rented LEGO sets?
Every set is washed at 30 °C with soap after it comes back, dried, and checked brick by brick for completeness. Only then does it go out again. So you never get a set somebody else has been through unchecked.
What happens if pieces are missing or break?
Up to ten lost small pieces are no problem and are included in the price. It happens, vacuum cleaners are merciless. We only get in touch for larger damage or missing large pieces. You do not have to go over the carpet with tweezers.
How fast does the set reach me?
Orders placed before 14:00 go out the same working day. After that Swiss Post usually takes one to two working days. We deliver anywhere in Switzerland and delivery to you is free.
Why is renting more sustainable than buying?
A LEGO set is usually built once and then sits on a shelf or in a cellar for years. With us the same set passes through eight to ten people. For the same number of sets built, that is up to 90 % less newly produced plastic.
